Eight Channel Instrument for Impedance Measurements on Batteries
Gamry Instruments Introduces an Eight Channel Instrument Designed for Impedance Measurements on Batteries
The New Gamry EIS Box is a Multiplexed Eight Channel Instrument
Gamry Instruments, the manufacturer of high-quality electrochemical instrumentation, has announced the launch of a new eight channel instrument designed for impedance measurements on batteries or other devices such as supercapacitors or fuel cells. The EIS Box is isolated from ground and capable of EIS from 100 kHz down to 10 µHz.
The EIS Box comes with eight 3 m cell cables and is designed to be used in conjunction with a battery tester/cycler to provide impedance testing. Cycle testing of the battery would be provided by the battery tester/cycler. The device is 3U high and can be installed in a standard 19-inch rack.
This is the first instrument in Gamry’s lineup to utilize an ethernet connection and allows you to hook the device up to your local area network and control it from any computer on that network. Full product highlights, specifications, and images are available on the EIS Box product page of the web site.
We have also created an introduction demonstration video of the new EIS Box that you can watch in our Video Library.
