ACS 2017 Regional Meetings will be Venue for Gamry to introduce their New Complete Electrochemistry Lab Kit
Gamry Instruments to Introduce Laboratory Course in Electrochemistry at ACS Regional Meetings
Gamry Instruments will be introducing their new Laboratory Course in Electrochemistry at four of the American Chemical Society Regional Meetings throughout the United States. Gamry’s decision to launch this electrochemistry lab kit at the ACS venues was inspired by the expected attendees, workshops and the topics of the Technical Sessions.
The 2017 ACS Regional Meetings include the Mid-Atlantic Region MARM being held in Hershey, PA June 4-6th, Central Regional Meeting (CERM) in Detroit, MI June 7-9th, Northwest Regional Meeting in Corvallis, OR June 25-28th and the Great Lakes Regional Meeting (GLRM) in Fargo, ND June 27-30th.
Gamry will be represented by Cynthia A. Schroll, co-author of Introduction to Experimental Electrochemistry; the textbook included in the course. Dr. Schroll, a Product Marketing Specialist at Gamry, stated “The lack of education in electrochemistry has left students and professionals ill-prepared to tackle challenges like the degradation of infrastructure. To cover this gap we have developed the Laboratory Course in Electrochemistry to introduce students to the most useful research techniques for application areas such as Analytical Chemistry, Biosensors, and Corrosion Science. We are excited by this opportunity to impact the generation of scientists who will be facing our next great challenges.”
Gamry’s electrochemistry lab kit comes complete with everything necessary to run the experiments contained in the included textbooks. All specialized electrochemical instrumentation and accessories necessary have been included to perform Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy, Corrosion Experiments, Cyclic Voltammetry and more. The course kit also includes Digital Simulation Software as well, and a fully upgradable potentiostat with high performance electrochemistry capability.
