ISE 20th Topical Meeting
The 20th Topical Meeting of the International Society of Electrochemistry is being held March 19-22, 2017 in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The scope of the meeting will be a focus on Advances in Lithium and Hydrogen Electrochemical Systems for Energy Conversion and Storage. The goal of the meeting will be to provide electrochemical researchers working in the fields of lithium batteries and hydrogen fuel cells an opportunity to discuss their recent advances and future developments. From basic research in related electrode reactions to applied electrochemical energy conversion and energy storage, including electrochemical engineering aspects.
Topics will include the development of new cathode and anodes materials, cell designs for Li batteries and hydrogen fuel cells, mathematical modelling, simulation and optimization of batteries, characterization of interfaces, electron transport, computational models, electrodeposition processes related to the preparation of new electrodes, surface and electrochemical characterization of electrode materials, methods for performance analysis of batteries and cells, deterioration diagnosis, etc.
The meeting venue is the Pontificia Universidad Catolica Argentina, situated in the refashioned docks of Puerto Madero, one of the most modern and quiet neighborhoods in Buenos Aires close to the riverside. Their two fully- equipped, modern auditoriums will serve for the oral presentations and the surrounding social space for posters and catering. The venue is a short walk to the commercial center of Buenos Aires.
