ISE Topical Meeting

The 16th Topical Meeting of the International Society of Electrochemistry is being held at the Vila Galé Eco Resort of Angra dos Reis, March 22-26th, 2015 in Angra dos Reis, Brazil - a collaboration with the Electrochemistry and Electroanalytical Division of the Brazilian Chemical Society.

The theme for this year's meeting is "Electrochemical Properties and Applications of Advanced Carbon Materials", and will feature keynote and contributed lectures on recent advances in the preparation, electrochemical characterization and application of advanced carbon materials (e.g., diamond, diamond-like carbons, graphene, fullerenes, carbon nanotubes). Applications of these materials in electroanalysis, biosensing, electrosynthesis, environmental remediation, energy conversion and storage, etc. will be covered. The meeting will start with a state-of-the-art overview of advanced carbon materials by plenary speakers, followed by invited lectures, oral presentations and posters.
