Gamry to Attend the PlugVolt 2017 Battery Seminar
Gamry Instruments is excited to be attending the anticipated battery industry event sponsored by PlugVolt. The “Conference fostering joint development efforts to advance energy storage solutions” is being held at the Hilton Garden Inn in Ann Arbor MI (USA) from July 18th-20th.
Gamry will also be exhibiting at the event with a focus on the Reference 3000 and 3000AE potentiostats. The Reference 3000 is a high-current, high-performance potentiostat well suited for researchers studying batteries, fuel cells or supercapacitors. It is also well suited for general physical electrochemistry experiments requiring high voltages and high currents. For very high current applications, the Reference 3000 can be interfaced with the Reference 30K Booster.
Key highlights of the event include in-depth presentations by Dr. Paul Gifford, a leading independent electrochemist. Topics of the presentations include fundamentals of electrochemistry, advances in raw materials, battery safety, recycling and re-use of used batteries, technologies beyond the Lithium Ion battery and emerging technologies for large-scale applications.
PlugVolt offers business consultation services, information services, and custom training (online & onsite) services to the energy storage industry.
