The Electrochemical Society Meeting - Cancun, Mexico

Gamry Instruments, designer and manufacturer of electrochemical instruments, will be an exhibitor at the 226th Meeting of the Electrochemical Society – October 5-9 in Cancun, Mexico. The meeting is being held at the Moon Palace Resort.

The 2014 ECS and SMEQ Joint International Meeting is a major international conference offering a unique blend of electrochemical and solid-state science and technology; and serves as a major forum for the discussion of interdisciplinary research from around the world through a variety of formats, such as oral presentations, poster sessions, exhibits, and tutorial sessions.

We will be having a Workshop in the Exhibit Hall on Thursday October 9th at 11:00 am (CDT).  The title of the Workshop is "Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy of Difficult Samples".  This workshop will cover precautions needed for analyzing very low samples such as batteries and fuel cells as well as very high impedance samples such as insulating coatings.  Cabling, sample setup, and instrument parameters can greatly affect the outcome in an EIS experiment for samples such as these.  Join us for an engaging discuss on best practices for EIS of difficult samples."
