Cyclic Voltammetry of Biofilms Presented by Jerome Babauta
Electrochemically Active Biofilms and Cyclic Voltammetry
Cyclic voltammetry (CV) is a standard electrochemical technique that measures the current response to a triangular applied potential waveform. CV is useful because it can be applied in either a qualitative or quantitative manner. This flexibility makes CV a popular tool for studying electrochemically active biofilms. In this webinar, we will introduce electrochemically active biofilms and talk about how to set up a CV experiment and analyze typical data obtained. We will discuss the challenges in using CV for these biofilms and provide a few possible solutions.
