Abstract
This work reports the morphological and photocatalytic hydrogen generation properties of CNT/Pt composites with and without functionalization by carboxylic/oxygen groups. The composites with and without functionalization were named f-CNT/Pt and CNT/Pt, respectively. Several f-CNT/Pt and CNT/Pt composites with different content of Pt NPs (from 0 to 30 wt%) were synthesized and analyzed by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Those images revealed that the composites without functionalization presented higher agglomerations of Pt nanoparticles (NPs).
