Abstract
Abstract The Cr deposition and poisoning on electrolyte of solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs) is critical because the electrolyte at cathode side is exposed to gaseous Cr species. A comparison of Cr deposition and poisoning on La0.8Sr0.2Ga0.8Mg0.2O3?? (LSGM) and Gd0.1Ce0.9O2?? (GDC) electrolytes is studied, in order to reveal the compatibility of SOFCs. The {XPS} results show that the little Cr deposition on {GDC} surface at 800
