The 1L RCE Cell (Part #992-00180) is designed for rotating cylinder studies.
Vertical adjustment combines with the ball joint to make sure your Reference Electrode Bridge Tube is placed close to the surface of your rotating cylinder. The Bubbler has one position for deaeration and another for blanketing.
The cell includes the following features:
The cell kit includes one 30 cm (12 in.) graphite rod counter. Common electrochemical setups will leave 2-3 ports available to allow other experimental needs (condenser, stirring, in-situ imaging, solution adjustments, etc.).
The cell top and cell bottom are firmly secured by a clamp. The standard cylinder electrode is 12.7 mm in diameter with 6.06 cm2 exposed area. Standard materials such as 1018CS, 430SS, and 316SS are available. Users can also machine their own samples if they wish.
